Merch Incubator
The Merch Incubator program was established in 2018 for creators to explore different channels of releasing merch for their audience. It's similar to a combination of using print on demand services and licensing the rights of artwork to MerchNook by Not Zero Yet.
This is a program for creators who want to focus on promoting to their audience without worrying about handling all the headaches that come with running a merch store.
Backed by Experience
Not Zero Yet started as an ecommerce consultation firm, building countless online stores across different platforms.
For some creators, having a full merch store and paying the costs didn't make sense. While options like Redbubble and other print on demand platforms exist, the royalties were extremely low, and the quality of the products left a lot to be desired.
In recent years, newer platforms like Fourth Wall have entered the market to fill the gap.
But for some creators, they still want to focus on their content, while the experts handle the merch, from the design process, to merchandising, to operations and customer service.
This is where MerchNook by Not Zero Yet comes in.
We're the one stop shop that stands by creators, even if you are just testing the waters.
Whether you bring your creative skills and designs, or let us design for you, we pick up where you leave off, and together, we bring your merch line to your audience.
Royalty Structure
We offer transparent pricing and show creators the print on demand companies we partner with to keep our merch store running smoothly. There is a 15% markup added to the original cost of products provided by our network of suppliers. This is to cover sales tax and fees that we are responsible for paying to the suppliers.
While we offer a suggested retail price based on research, you can set the price you want to charge for your products. A pricing calculation Google Sheet will be provided so that you can crunch the numbers. You keep 100% of the profits from the merch sales you bring in for your specific collection of products.
Artwork Designs & IP Ownership
Feel free to bring your own designs. While we don't have an in-house graphic designer, a lot of our designs are typographically based, and they've proven to sell well.
All the artwork you bring and use for merch designs are exclusively yours. The artist will be credited in the product descriptions.
Exclusivity
MerchNook by Not Zero Yet has an open door policy. We try our best to serve and build alongside creators, to find our own community. All designs created in collaboration with us are shared with you, and you own the rights to the artwork. All we ask is to be credited if we had a hand in the process of designing the artwork. Completed artworks are always shared with you, source files included.
Why Work with MerchNook by Not Zero Yet?
Not Zero Yet was created in 2013 by a guy who had no graphic design experience nor any artistic talent whatsoever. He didn't have a business plan. He wanted to change the world and he loved t-shirts. Fast forward to 2026, he's a much better ecommerce consultant and store builder than he is a merch seller.
The merch store acts more as a showcase and a hub for creators than a business.
It has been an honor to work with creators from across the world to release merch drops. If given permission, we'd love to feature successful merch collaborations on our upcoming YouTube channel. We believe in lifting communities up, and small businesses can also learn from our experience.
